This doesn’t really need much in the way of explanation, does it? I made some at the weekend and it’s delicious. I love Baileys Irish Cream but the local shop for local people had only the biscotti and hazelnut flavours. I once tried the hazelnut and found it really unpleasant so wasn’t going to chance buying a bottle of anything but the original, even though I mainly wanted it for St Patrick Day cupcakes.
Using brandy was a little bit of an experiment but a very happy one. It’s delicious. I still have enough brandy left to make one more bottle but will have to get more cream and condensed milk. Works out at a third of the price of Baileys.
So, if you like brandy and you like Baileys, give it a go. I think you’ll love it.
