Inkscape Segment Tutorial

I was doing some scrap busting and remembered the super little owl stuffies  (owl ) using a template from Efemera Ink’s blog post ‘Wise’.

I wanted to make a few more and create some permanent hard copy templates and make the segments in Illustrator. It was a real faff. There had to be an easier way. Thought to myself ‘I’ll check out Inkscape’ and very glad that I did.

It’s  relatively straightforward and now my templates are done. I have beautiful arcs with perfect angles printed and cut out ready for a full squawk,  or  I should say, a Parliament or Stare (collective nouns) of owls.

If you would like a copy of my tutorial, you can download it for free. Here you go!

Thank You Louise! Just this morning I was saying that I was thinking of giving up on this blog as nobody seems to like anything I do. Had a bad case of the morbs, I’m afraid, so your lovely comment has come at the right time.
