It’s nearly THAT time of year again so been thinking about Love and took the quote from the Corinthians to make this poster in Illustrator and PS. Not that I am religious. Unless you count His Noodliness. The quote is very simple and true, nonetheless.
Neither Mr Tree or I are conventionally romantic either. I don’t like chocolates and flowers (well, I do, just not as a Valentine’s gesture) as it’s just too formulaic. It’s like perfume. It’s the over-the-counter one-stop-shop for a Romantic Present. And , of course, the flowers have to be red roses. Now they are something I really don’t much like. We both prefer nerdy, practical things. I won’t tell you what was on Amazon recently that got us both excited – and No – it’s nothing of an ‘adult’ nature!
Nope, Mr Tree has got me something I’ve wanted for a while. It would have been a surprise but a letter arrived telling him something wasn’t in stock and I opened it. We both open each other’s mail so don’t get shocked – whoever gets to the post first opens it.
Turned out to be something for my sewing machine. A magic (well, to me) foot! I would like to give a big shout out to Pemberton’s in Edinburgh, UK. He contacted them to see if they had it in stock and they didn’t and weren’t able to get it ordered and shipped to him for me for Valentine’s Day and they suggested the Janome Centre in England. So, it really is a big thank you to Pembertons for suggesting an alternative supplier and I hope I can put business their way in the future. Here’s a link: Pemberton’s .
Got to think what to get my heart. I need inspiration… he WON’T be wanting a sewing foot attachment!
