Heart Garland

This weekend has been very busy one way or another. I have been cutting and stitching and stuffing lots of little hearts together – some to hang up on the Christmas tree, some to make a garland with. This pretty little set will be part of the first garland I’m making. I made them all except one – my friend makes gorgeous crafty stitchy things and sells them at a farmers’ market. I loved the fabric and had to have it – it’s the white one with the stars and baubles on.

I’ve also been stitching some hearts onto drawstring bags – I love these. Hessian goes so well with Christmas colours, don’t you think?

I bought (eek – stopped to think about how to phrase the next sentence and noticed the word count was 111) some lovely Christmas material on Saturday so am ready to make some more and get the garland strung together and ready to decorate the mantlepiece.

Now I must go. Duty calls.

Have fun

Hel
